BACKGROUND

There are billions of lives with a common necessity – Self-defense against the predators. Karate, too, was born out of this human need that has evolved over centuries.

Evolution of Karate dates back to Before Christ era. It is believed that Bodhidharma (Daruma Daishi in Japanese and Ta-mo in Chinese) significantly contributed in its evolution from India to China and subsequently to Okinawa where the art evolved as Shuri-te, Naha-te and Tomari-te. Evolution process further continued in mainland Japan in 1930s where it was finally termed as Karate-do or the art of empty hand.

From multiple styles to broad formats, karate training and tournament systems got classified into three formats, i.e.,

(1) General Karate (sports karate),

(2) Traitional Karate and

(3) Contact Karate.

For the first time in the history of world karate, all the 3 formats shared common platform under one roof at Renmei Cup in 2014 in New Delhi.

Dr. (Prof) Ilija Jorga ~ Serbia (Shihankai)

The Traditional Fudokan Karate was founded in 1980 by Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga together with several similarly-minded people, forming the International Fudokan Karate do Renmei. Since 2012, the organization is known as the World Fudokan Federation. The three ideograms in Fudokan stand for stability, hardness, thoroughness, house and home. Fudokan is a house with solid foundations. The Fudokan emblem – carrying the traditional symbols of an Eagle, the Sun, a Tiger, and an Ocean Wave – resembles a coat of arms, bound to the tradition of sport karate. Fudokan is connected to tradition and self defense. A correct execution of basic techniques in Fudokan requires mental and physical harmony, a unity of physical and mental aspects in the interpretation of each single technique. The mind must be completely calm and open, in the sense of initial, primal wariness. This principle is embedded even in the name of Fudokan: a house of calm wisdom. The calm mind directs every part of the body at every moment. Fudokan karate encompasses personal, moral and ethical guidelines identical to those described by Gichin Funakoshi – the moral code of traditional karate. It is in Fudokan where the space for applying and realizing this code remains open. Our adherence to the moral principles and technical values in their traditional form tells us how strong the martial art spirit of Fudokan will be.

Dr. (Prof) Vladimir Jorga~ Serbia (Shihankai [ Director] )

University professor, Doctor of medicine and currently Dean of UN University of Peace ECPD, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Yorga began his journey in karate in 1957.

The renowned European Champion, Dr. Vladimir Jorga has won numerous medals in international tournaments.

A Living Legend, Sensei Vladimir Jorga is a member of the Board of Governors SHIHANKAI of the WPKC.

Sensei Rajeev Sinha~ India/Hong Kong (CMD)

A globally renowned karate personality, a legendary master, a social entrepreneur, pioneer of professional karate who holds key positions in a number of entities globally, is at the helm of affairs of WPKC.

Sensei Rachmy Soebajo~ Czech Republic ( Executive Board )

Having started karate journey in 1960, Sensei Rachmy Soebajo moved from Indonesia to Czechoslovakia. He is one of the founders of National Karate Federation in Czechoslovakia (now Czech and Slovak Republics). Currently, a 9th Dan and international master, Sensei Rachmy Soebajo is a member of the Executive Board of the WPKC.

Former World Champion in Veteran category, a Dr Karl Hans Konig has been a Senior Communication Manager with global responsibility with numerous companies before he joined the Executive Board of the WPKC. He brings vast experience of Corporate Communication.

Sensei Hakki Kosar ~Turkey ( Executive Board )

Born on December 8, 1943 in Istanbul, Turkey, Sensei Hakki Kosar started karate way back in 1960. Often referred to as father of Turkish Karate, Hakki Kosar is also an actor known for Siyah Eldivenli Adam (1973), Tarkan Guclu Kahraman (1973) and Tatlim (1973).

Sensei Hakki Kosar is currently holder of 9th Dan.

New Registration Fee: Karate athletes can register on centralized portal of BoutsPro, after completion of basic formalities through the local Board/Representative. They will get all information e.g. ranking, upcoming events/tournaments as well as educational & training lessons.
Annual Renewal Fee: Member registration includes tournament participation fee (1 year), educational & training support, maintenance of online records & ranking. Membership should be renewed every year.
Project CuppaSchoola: BoutsPro shares the principles of vBelieve Sports, “Nurture the Future” by infusing scholarship to our young talent filtered through multiple programme of CuppaSchoola. We are targeting 100,000 schools in our first phase of CuppaSchoola program.
Event & Tournament tickets: Event & Tournament tickets will also be the major part of revenue. Tickets can be sold online by using BoutsPro tokens.
Franchise/Team Sale: Along with the World Series, we also have designed private club / team. These teams will participate in World Professional Karate League. Franchise of team will be sold on revenue share module.
Advertisement: BoutsPro has designed different types of advertisement categories e.g. online advertisement of our portals & applications, advertisement banner on different sights of Dojos & Stadiums. The advertisement slots will be sold online through BoutsPro tokens.
Sponsorship: Like other sports, we attract sponsorship for our various events.
Sports Insurance: We are shortly coming up with Sports Insurances. We provide insurance to all the athletes.
BoutsPro.TV: BoutsPro.TV brings all faculties of entertainment industry under one roof. It is established in collaboration with QuickMedia and Pozetta Broadcasters of Czech Republic that primarily facilitates AKAMAI platform for live streaming of video feeds and video-on-demand. BoutsPro.TV plans to expand into film and television production as well as online distribution. We plan to enter into content-production industry by 2018.
Gaming: Based on our Karate theme & world championship, we are working on different types of video games. We are also in a process of tie-up with online game development companies. The purpose of these games is to provide healthy entertainment and educate basics of karate to the common people as well athletes. BoutsPro token will required on the different states in the game & the players can also convert their scores/rewards in BoutsPro tokens.
Movie Production: Movies had played significant role to popularise Karate worldwide. Movies like “The Karate Kid” & “Kung Fu Panda” have made great impact on young generation and encourage them to learn karate. “Bruce Lee”, “Jackie Chan”, “Jet Li”, “Donnie Yen”, “Michelle Yeoh”, “Kara Hui” & “Cynthia Rothrock” are among the movie stars who played major role to make Karate famous among common people. Understanding the power of movies, BoutsPro decided to produce one world class movie based on Karate, every year.
Dojo & Stadium: BoutsPro has planned to create World Class Stadiums/Dojos worldwide. In our first phase we are in a process to initiate of around 100 Stadiums & Dojos. Athletes will get the chance practice with better opponent and get the guidance of legendry coaches & trainers.
BoutsPro Cards: We have designed three different types of cards. These cards will provide access of our services (BoutsPro.TV, Games, Apps, Premium pass for tournaments etc.) to sports lovers.
BoutsPro Global Schools: We have planned to establish BoutsPro Global Schools for regular mainstream education in most innovative ways. The said project is to be implemented in collaboration with various governments in each continents of the World. The process is already initiated in Serbia (Europe) and Indonesia (Asia).
